Banyan to Open California Treatment Center

Banyan Treatment Centers announced it is expanding its footprint to the West Coast with this month’s opening of Banyan Palm Springs, a 42-bed facility offering substance use disorder and mental health treatment with detox and residential levels of care.

Located on the site of the former Desert Palms facility in Cathedral City, California, Banyan Palm Springs is the company’s 11th facility, joining properties in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Florida and Illinois.

The new facility will offer one-on-one counseling, group therapy, life skills education, family services, LGBTQ awareness programming, CBD, DBT, trauma work and other recovery-oriented activities.
