Tom Valentino, Digital Managing Editor

Curated Mental Health, a provider of psychiatric services in New York City, has partnered with Brooklyn Minds Psychiatry, along with Mind Centers, Brooklyn Minds’ associated management service organization.

Led by CEO Amanda Itzkoff, MD, Curated offers services ranging from talk therapy and medication management to psychedelic-assisted services, with plans to offer MDMA-assisted therapy once the treatment is approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

Brooklyn Minds is a mental health treatment program with locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, offering a combination of therapy, psychiatry, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) through team-based virtual and in-person services. The program was founded in 2016 by Carlene MacMillan, MD, and Owen Muir, MD.

Curated Mental Health is in-network with multiple insurance providers. In a news release announcing the partnership, the companies stated that certain services previously offered by Brooklyn Minds, including children’s services, will be phased out as the combined organization turns its focus to developing its clinical infrastructure around breakthrough treatments, including neuromodulation and psychedelic medicine.
