TITLE:
Bariatric Lifting and Moving

UNIT GOAL:
This unit of instruction explains the equipment and logistics of transporting the bariatric patient.

MINIMUM TIME REQUIRED:
Three hours.

3. Bariatric equipment and transport unit if available for practical scenarios.

The student will understand the purpose and mechanics of bariatric transport.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Upon the completion of this course the student will be able to utilize the bariatric equipment within their area to rapidly and efficiently package and move a bariatric patient to definitive care.
