Coma Prank Intended as Wake-Up Call for Ky. Man
12/11/2013
An online video shows a man apparently tricked into believing he was in a coma for 10 years following a DUI crash "back in 2013."
The man's friend, a YouTube prankster, set up an office to look like a hospital room complete with fake medical staff and a fake future news report on TV. The prank victim was brought in while passed out and is seen waking up in the fake hospital.
The prank was orchestrated with the intention of teaching the man a lesson due to his history of drinking and driving, says friend and prankster Tom Mabe.
After the joke is revealed it's unclear whether any "lesson" was learned, and the video has met mixed reactions.
