Anti-Nausea Drug Now Available
Merck Sharp & Dohme has reported that the shortage of its anti-nausea medication aprepitant (Emend) has been resolved.
The notice was posted in the drug shortage report from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The current drug shortage began in late June 2015.

The medication was approved for adults previously to treat nausea and vomitting resulting from chemotherapy. In September 2015, the drug was also approved for use in pediatric patients aged 12 and older in combination with other antiemetic agents.
