Asthma Drugs Discontinued

Major Pharmaceuticals is discontinuing three presentations of theophylline extended-release tablets, according to an ASHP report.

In April, Teva Pharmaceuticals announced that a number of presentations of the medication would not be available until 2018. They noted that the delay was caused by meeting requirements associated with good manufacturing practices. Also in April, Heritage Pharma announced that it was discontinuing two presentations of the medication.
