Cancer Med Shortage Ends

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the resolution of a drug shortage that has gone on for more than a year.

Doxorubicin (Adriamycin) injection is now available in a number of presentations from Fresenius Kabi USA, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Sagent Pharmaceuticals, Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries, and Teva Pharmaceuticlas.

This shortage began in March 2015, according to an FDA report.
