AMR And EmCare Sold To Onex Partners LP

Laidlaw International, Inc. announced today in a press release that it has entered into definitive agreements to sell both of its healthcare companies, American Medical Response (AMR) and EmCare, to Onex Partners LP, an affiliate of Onex Corporation, for $820 million.

The Abaris Group received contact from AMR staff indicating that senior management at AMR will remain intact, including President and Chief Executive Officer William A. Sanger.
