IHI to Offer Webinar Series on Improving Prehospital Emergency Care
Cambridge, MA, USA, January 1, 2015 -- The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is a world-wide leader in using quality improvement to improve the health of populations, enhance care quality, and reduce per capita cost. Over the last year, the IHI Innovation team studied paramedicine and out-of-hospital paramedic-based care systems. The research and development resulted in an WIHI podcast and an article in the ACHE Healthcare Executive publication on improving EMS care.
In 2015, IHI is excited to offer its first public program: Web & Action: Improving Prehospital Emergency Care. The program is based on research and frontline testing. Each session is hosted by IHI Improvement advisor and prehospital emergency care faculty David M. Williams, PhD, and includes expert paramedic faculty from around the world.
