Multiple Fire, EMS Agencies Deploy Spotted Dog Technologies App

PRESS RELEASE

Spotted Dog Technologies, a provider of emergency response technology, today announced 19 new fire and EMS agencies have selected Spotted Dog’s Rover Mobile Incident Response Platform.

Rover gives fire, rescue and EMS agencies the tools needed to decrease response time in the first crucial minutes of an incident. The platform alerts responders to an emergency relaying information to them including site details, water sources, hazards, maps and navigation. Through one touch of their mobile device, responders can indicate their availability; sending their location, credentials and estimated time of arrival back to the incident command center.

“As Fire and EMS dispatch becomes increasingly complex, information has become one of today’s most important firefighting tools,” said Geoffrey Giordano, Spotted Dog’s chief executive officer. “For example, knowing the location of hydrants and their distance from the fire ground helps incident command make effective decisions to ensure they have the right equipment and resources.”

New users of the Rover solution include six departments in Pennsylvania, five departments in Virginia, three departments in Vermont, two departments in Connecticut and New Hampshire and one department in Tennessee.
