Dignity Health Names Chief Strategy Officer for Sacramento Region

July 10--San Francisco-based Dignity Health on Thursday announced the appointment of Chris Champlin as chief strategy officer for the health care system's greater Sacramento service area.

Dignity's regional service area includes Sacramento's Mercy General Hospital, Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, Woodland Memorial Hospital, and Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley.

In his new role, Champlin, 50, will oversee strategic marketing and sales, growth opportunities and other general management duties.

He joined Dignity Health in 2002.
