Braun Ambulances Celebrates EMS Week by Honoring America’s First Responders
Van Wert, Ohio—Braun Ambulances, a premier American manufacturer of custom-built emergency vehicles, is proud to participate in EMS Week 2026, taking place May 17–23. In celebration of the week, Braun will launch a daily social media giveaway campaign designed to recognize the first responders who serve on the front lines of emergency care across the nation.
From Monday through Friday, Braun will post a poll question connected to EMS Week’s daily themes on its official social media channels. Participants can enter by commenting on the original post. One winner will be randomly selected each day to receive a $100 Amazon gift card. Winners will be announced the following day in the comments.
This new format marks a shift from previous years, where giveaways focused on department-wide prizes. By moving to daily individual drawings, Braun aims to extend its reach and show appreciation to more first responders across the country.

This week is about honoring their impact and finding meaningful ways to give back.”
Now in its 52nd year, EMS Week was first authorized in 1974 and is presented by the American College of Emergency Physicians in partnership with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians. The annual observance shines a light on the critical role EMS professionals play in safeguarding the health, safety, and well-being of their communities.
This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” highlights the collective responsibility shared across the EMS community—from clinicians and leadership to partners and manufacturers—to advance patient care and support those behind the patch.
