Falck Health Institute Celebrates Grand Opening of Its Education Center

ORANGE COUNTY, CA—The nonprofit Falck Health Institute celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art education center in early November, marking a major investment in the future of emergency medical services education and workforce development in Southern California.
“Falck has been a trusted name in emergency services for nearly 120 years,” said Michael Kaduce, Director of the Falck Health Institute. “This new center represents our continued commitment to saving and improving lives, not only through patient care, but through the education and empowerment of those who provide it.”
Located adjacent to Falck headquarters in Orange, Calif., the new campus features modern classrooms, simulation space, and advanced audiovisual technology designed to mirror real-world emergency environments. In addition to offering initial EMT education, the Institute provides continuing education for EMTs and paramedics, as well as instructor development programs and research on best practices in EMS.
The Falck Health Institute is dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals from all walks of life to pursue a career in public safety and healthcare, including those who would not ordinarily envision themselves in the profession, Kaduce said. “By fostering collaboration, mentorship, and community partnerships, the Institute aims to continue building a resilient EMS workforce.”
The grand opening event included remarks from community leaders, local officials, and Falck representatives, as well as a ribbon-cutting ceremony, demonstrations, and guided tours of the new facility.
