AmeriPro EMS Names Paul Beamon New VP of EMS

June 10—AmeriPro EMS announces the addition of Paul Beamon as the company’s new vice president of emergency medical services. Beamon will be responsible for performing continuous evaluations of operational processes and procedures, as well as developing strategies to improve and standardize all aspects of operations.

“Paul brings a wealth of knowledge in the EMS industry,” said Suhas Uppalapati, president and CEO of AmeriPro EMS. “His experience greatly enhances our capabilities, and he will be instrumental in optimizing our strategy as we can continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers, patients and community.”

Beamon joins AmeriPro after two years as the director of EMS operations for Grady EMS in Metro Atlanta, where he managed one of the busiest 911 markets in the U.S. In this role, he was responsible for the development and oversight of operational and emergency medical policies and procedures for 600 team members. Prior to his time at Grady EMS, Beamon worked for Spalding Regional Hospital for seven years where he served in a variety of roles, including director of EMS, director of hospital security and as the emergency preparedness coordinator. He has also worked for DeKalb Fire Rescue as a firefighter-paramedic and with Forest Park, Georgia, as the director of medical services.

Paul Beamon brings more than 24 years of experience in the emergency medical services industry to AmeriPro EMS. He is currently a certified critical care paramedic, nationally registered paramedic and holds his fire chief certification. He also holds a Bachelor of Public Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and is pursuing his Master of Public Administration at Purdue.
