S.D. Bus Turned Into Ambulance for Disasters

RAPID CITY, S.D.—Emergency service agencies are getting ready for the 75th annual Sturgis Rally and they have a new toy in their fleet … a big, yellow school bus.
Of course, while it looks like your average school bus it is actually an ambulance.
With seats replaced by cots, the Am-U-Bus can carry up to 25 patients. The bus will not replace actual ambulances, but it will be able to help with non-life threatening injuries.
