Topera Announces Schedule for Cardiostim 2012
06/12/2012
RhythmView™ and FIRMap™ to be on display at Booth A36
Topera announced that its RhythmView™ 3D Electrophysiological Mapping System will be featured in 11 scientific presentations at Cardiostim 2012, the 18th WORLD CONGRESS on Cardiac EP & Cardiac Techniques, June 13-16 in Nice, France. The presentations, a combination of poster sessions and lectures, will provide clinicians with key information about Topera technology’s ability to routinely identify the sources that sustain atrial fibrillation - specifically focal impulses and rotors. In addition, Topera will display, for the first time on an open floor exhibit, its revolutionary RhythmView analysis console and FIRMap™ diagnostic catheter in booth A36.
“Since the recent Heart Rhythm Society conference last month, we have experienced strong interest in finding out how and when one can purchase the RhythmView system. This speaks to the high and expanding interest in applying Topera’s 3D mapping platform in clinical practice,” said Ruchir Sehra, MD, Topera Medical’s Chief Medical Officer. “As we prepare for the commercial launch in early 2013, we are pleased to see Topera’s technology taking a lead role in transforming the way electrophysiologists diagnose complex arrhythmias.”

About Topera Medical
Topera Medical has developed the RhythmView™, 3D Electrophysiologic Mapping System to assist electrophysiologists in the identification of the electrical source of complex cardiac arrhythmias. The RhythmView system, including the RhythmView console and FIRMap™ catheter, is designed to improve patient outcomes by enabling electrophysiologists to view a dynamic representation of the electrical activity of the heart, supporting the diagnosis of and treatment planning for a variety of arrhythmias including atrial flutter, atrial tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, and atrial fibrillation (AF). The FIRMap catheter is in development and not presently available for sale.
