Topera Medical’s Diagnostic Technology Featured at Venice Arrhythmia 2011 Conference
10/10/2011
Topera Medical, a developer of innovative mapping systems that help identify the electrical source of cardiac arrhythmias, announced that clinical and health economic data resulting from the clinical use of their RhythmView™ diagnostic system will be presented during the 12th International Workshop on Cardiac Arrhythmias (Venice Arrhythmias 2011) taking place in Venice, Italy from October 9-12, 2011.
“Ten years of research culminating in the development of the RhythmView System is now being shared with the broader scientific community, including presentation of the potential profound health economic benefits associated with the use of this technology. This data is particularly important given the current economic climate and close scrutiny of clinical evidence and health care costs,” said Ruchir Sehra, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Topera Medical. “We are encouraged by the interest and support for Topera’s diagnostic technology from the clinical and scientific community, and we look forward to broader clinical experience following FDA approval of the RhythmView System anticipated later this year.”

Topera Medical (Topera, Inc.) is developing the proprietary RhythmView System to assist electrophysiologists in the identification of the electrical source of cardiac arrhythmias. The RhythmView System is designed to provide electrophysiologists with a dynamic representation of the electrical activity of the heart, supporting the diagnosis of and treatment planning for a variety of arrhythmias.
