Video Shows U.K. Paramedic’s A&E Scuffle with Drunk Man

These images show the moment that cost a paramedic his job as he restrained a drunk man at the Royal Liverpool Hospital.

Adrian Penfold-Ivany, who served the North West Ambulance Service for 13 years, was investigated for assault and sacked after the A&E scuffle.

Ambulance bosses ruled he used “excessive” force during the confrontation, but the 45-year-old claims he was defending himself, other patients and visitors.
