TRANSCRIPT

Dr David Pariser:  SweatHelp.org is the website of the International Hyperhidrosis Society. This is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to patient education and patient involvement. Many tens of thousands of people around the world are members of this.

It's an online community that has multiple resources for patients who have hyperhidrosis. It also is a resource for physicians on the website, with physician education with videos on how to do procedures, which patients, of course, can watch too to see how things may be done, various procedures on the treatment of hyperhidrosis.

There's a provider list of physicians, mostly physicians but other health care providers, who have been either trained by the Hyperhidrosis Society or at least have expressed interest in treatment of patients with hyperhidrosis.

The other thing that the Society does is physician education. Over 20 times, in places all around the world, in the last few years, the Society has held full-day or half-day educational sessions for physicians to help raise their awareness of hyperhidrosis.

I would recommend SweatHelp.org to anybody. You can spend half an hour on that site, and you will know more about hyperhidrosis than most doctors do.
