Rethinking the No-Option Patient: Stabilization, Vascular Support, and the Future of Limb Preservation

Stabilization, vascular regeneration, and the future of limb salvage—as we explore the critical importance of a multimodal approach, we’ll look at how techniques such as Fixator-Assisted Soft Tissue Repair (FASTR) can provide the mechanical stability needed to support healing in complex soft tissue defects, deformities, and nonhealing wounds. Each procedure explored holds independent value, but it may be through sequencing or adjunctive use that we discover the most effective path to durable limb salvage.
