Another Perspective on Morton's Neuroma

After reviewing your recent January 2024 Point-Counterpoint, “Morton’s Neuroma: Is Excision Superior,” I think there are some additional points that need to be discussed regarding this topic. The Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons (AENS) publishes preferred practice guidelines for peripheral nerve surgery, and they have a section specifically discussing Morton’s neuroma. Interestingly, there are many other valuable educational items that I think the readership of Podiatry Today will like.
 
These guidelines are a collaborative effort by many members of the society and are rigorously ensconced within the latest bona fide peer-reviewed scientific literature.
