Video Supplement to "Floating Atrial Septal Defect Occluder in the Left Atrium" (Clinical Image).

 

Video 1. Transseptal puncture during the MitraClip (Abbott) procedure and the resultant enlarged atrial septal defect.

Video 2. Transthoracic echocardiogram (TTTE) and fluoroscopy showing the embolized Amplatzer Cribriform Occluder (Abbott) in the left atrium (with the classic “figure-of-8” sign characteristic of Amplatzer devices on TTE).

Video 3. Retrieval of the embolized Amplatzer Cribriform Occluder (Abbott) from the left atrium using a large-bore, steerable electrophysiology sheath and 25-mm Gooseneck snare within a Judkins Right-4 guide.

Video 4. Transesophageal echocardiography showing stable position of the 24-mm Amplatzer Septal Occluder (Abbott) with adequate interatrial septal capture, disc separation, and no intra- or peridevice flow.
