Benefits of Chemotherapy Plus Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation as Treatment Strategy for Ph-Positive ALL

 

Shira Dinner, MD, Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois, participated in a debate at the 2025 Great Debates in Hematologic Malignancies meeting in New York, New York, in which she argued in favor of the combination of chemotherapy and allogeneic stem cell transplantation versus a chemotherapy-free regimen for improving overall outcomes among patients with Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph-positive) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
